Strawberry and Apple Frozen Dog Treats

Ingredients:

·       1 Granny Smith Apple

·       12 small-medium strawberries

·       1.5-2 cups of Greek yogurt (Nonfat, Plain, No Xylitol, and free of any added sweetener)

·       ½ cup of water

 Directions:

1.     Remove the tops of all of the strawberries, then chop into fine pieces.

2.     Remove the core from the apple, then chop into fine pieces, making sure to remove all of the seeds.

3.     In a medium sized bowl, combine the finely chopped apple, chopped strawberries, and Greek yogurt. Mix until fully combined. Add ½ cup of water to make the yogurt thinner and easier to pour into ice cube trays.

4.     Spoon the fruit and yogurt mixture into the ice cube trays.

**Tip: Put ice cube trays on a cookie sheet before filling. This will make it easier to transport them to and from the freezer.

5.     Freeze for 4-6 hours or until solid. Freezing overnight will ensure the treats are completely frozen.

6.     Let your dog enjoy this treat!
