Dog Christmas Tree Cookies

Ingredients:

·       1.5 cups of whole wheat flour

·       ½ cup frozen peas

·       ¼ cup unsweetened apple sauce

 Directions:

1.     Add apple sauce and frozen peas to a blender. Blend until mixture is smooth and peas are fully combined with the apple sauce.

2.     Pour the blended applesauce and peas into a medium sized bowl and gradually add the flour.

3.     Mix until fully combined. The mixture should be sticky and thick.

4.     Pour into tree molds. If you do not have Christmas tree molds, you can pour the mixture into compartments in a mini muffin pan.

5.     Bake at 350° F for 25-30 minutes.

6.     The cookies will appear dry and will easily pop out of the baking mold when they are fully cooked.

7.     Allow the cookies to cool completely before serving to your dog.
