Happy Hills Kennels

“Our dogs are like family”

Located on 40 acres of country land in Northeast Missouri, the Happy Hills Kennels dogs have plenty of space to run and play.

Why did you want to become a pomsky breeder?

When asked why they wanted to become a pomsky breeder, the owner of Happy Hills Kennels said:

“I became a pomsky breeder because I fell in love with the breed after getting my first pomsky Tucker. His personality, temperament and looks are second to none. I had zero breeding experience so I got mentors and learned everything about how it is done, from birthing to marketing and everything in between. I bought books from the breeding guru Myra Savant Harris and taught myself some things as well.”

Pomsky Health

  • All dogs are Embark® tested

  • Breeding dogs are checked for knee and hip concerns when they are at the age where there would be concerns about his

Types of Pomskies

  • Toy Pomskies

  • Mini Pomskies (most of their dogs fall into this category)

  • Standard Pomskies

How often do you have pomsky puppies available?

  • Happy Hills Kennels has about 10 litters a year, so pomsky puppies are available often

What trait do you consider the most important when breeding pomsky dogs?

Happy Hills Kennels believes the most important trait is the dog’s temperament. They spend a lot of one on one time with each of their dogs to ensure they are breeding high quality dogs.

What is your favorite part about being a pomsky breeder?

“Gotcha day” is Happy Hills Kennel’s favorite part of being a pomsky breeder. They believe there is nothing better than watching the excitement on a new owner’s face when they receive their new baby. They believe it makes all of the sleepless nights, cleaning and training worth it.

Anything else we should know about your company?

“Our dogs are like family. They get the best care and love from everyone at our home and everyone at the vet’s office. Breeding dogs is something I never thought would be my career. There has been some incredibly hard days/times but it has also been one of the most rewarding experiences as well.”
