Visit a Pumpkin Patch or Apple Orchard

Bring your pomsky dog to a dog friendly pumpkin patch or apple orchard. While you are visiting a pumpkin patch your pomsky dog can help you pick out which pumpkin you want to bring home and carve. They might want to jump around on the pumpkins or may just enjoy walking through rows of the pumpkin patch and socializing with other people visiting.

Going to an apple orchard is a great way to celebrate fall and why not take your pomsky along too? You can sip apple cider and pick fresh apples with your dog right by your side. An apple orchard offers sights and smells that will be new to your pup, so it is a great socialization opportunity. Once you pick some apples, bring them home and make apple dog treats or bake something sweet for yourself.

Your dog will love taking in all of the sights and smells a pumpkin patch or apple orchard has to offer.

Go for a Hike

The fall foliage is beautiful and makes great scenery for a hike. The weather is also cooler so you can take your pomsky dog on a longer hike than you typically would in the summer months. Breathe in the fresh air and explore the outdoors while getting exercise with your dog.

Jump in a Leaf Pile

You will likely have to rake some leaves in your yard, so why not make it fun for your dog? Rake your leaves into a pile, then throw a fetch toy into the pile so your dog jumps into the leaves. Once your pomsky discovers how fun the leaves are, they won’t want to go back inside. Be sure to check your dog for fleas and ticks before going back inside just to be extra cautious.

Make Pumpkin or Apple Treats

Making fall dog treats is a great way to celebrate fall while giving your pup health benefits too! You can get apples and pumpkins at apple orchards and pumpkin patches, or just go to your local grocery store. Check out our pomsky-approved apple dog treats and pumpkin dog treats. Your home will have the perfect fall scent while these treats bake in the oven.

Go Camping

Fall is a great time to take your pomsky dog camping with you. Make sure you bring all of the supplies you need to keep your pomsky fed, hydrated, clean and comfortable during your camping trip. The cool weather offers great opportunities for outdoor adventures and star gazing with your dog.

Corn Maze

Bring your dog to a corn maze and get lost together. You will both enjoy the fall fresh air and your pomsky dog will hopefully be able to sniff their way out of the maze. This is a great way to give your pomsky dog mental and physical exercise while taking part in fall festivities together.

Fall Photoshoot

Take gorgeous pictures of your pomsky dog on your fall adventures. You could keep it simple and do a backyard photo shoot with some pretty trees and bushes that are turning colors. You can also incorporate a photo shoot into other adventures previously mentioned such as when you visit the pumpkin patch, apple orchard, go hiking and more. You might even want to do a photo shoot in Halloween costumes.

Summary

Make memories this fall with your pomsky by bringing them with you to an apple orchard, pumpkin patch or corn maze. Enjoying hiking and camping in the cooler weather and make sure to stop for photo opportunities in front of the fall foliage. Don’t forget to bake some sweet treats for yourself and your dog to enjoy in the comfort of your home.
