Pumpkin Cranberry Soft Dog Treats

These fall dog treats combine healthy ingredients including cinnamon, pumpkin and cranberries that your dog will love. They are easy to make and the perfect size for your pup to enjoy.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup of Whole Wheat Flour

  • 1 Cup of Rolled Oats

  • ½ Teaspoon Cinnamon

  • 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder

  • 1 ½ Cups Pumpkin Puree (unsweetened)

  • 1 ½ Cups Water

  • 1 Tablespoon Honey

  • ¾ Cup Low Sugar Dried Cranberries (Craisins)

 

 Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F and spray a mini muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, rolled oats, cinnamon and baking powder. Stir until fully blended.

  3. In a medium bowl combine the pumpkin puree, water and honey.

  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the large mixing bowl with the dry ingredients and mix until well blended, then mix in the dried cranberries.

  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup to the top.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-22 minutes, or until the tops of the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  7. Let cool in pan for 5 minutes, then transfer muffins onto a cooling rack.

  8. Allow the muffins to cool completely before serving these delicious treats to your dog.
