Traveling with your dog can be a fun experience for both of you. Although many of the hotels listed below are dog friendly, it is important that you call ahead to let the hotel know that your dog will be coming with you so they are prepared. Other Considerations
If you are bringing your dog with you to stay in a hotel, you will want to plan your activities to include your dog. For example, if you cannot bring your dog with you to a location such as an aquariam, you will want to arrange doggy daycare, or ask the hotel staff if your dog can stay in the room inside of a crate. Do not leave your dog in a hotel room by themselves without a crate while you are away as this could lead to negative events including: that they could run out the door when housekeeping checks on the room, ruin items in the room by biting or chewing, have accidents, scratch at the door or window, or many other problems you wouldn’t expect.
Summary
A variety of hotels offer pet friendly accommodations, but each hotel has different fees and policies. Always check the specific hotel’s website to get the most up to date information on their pet policies. Make sure to call ahead to confirm that the hotel has pet-friendly rooms available and to let the staff know to expect your furry companion. Your dog will enjoy being part of your travel adventures in these pet friendly hotels.
